to an extent!
it's more allegorical to the creation process. keeping the world in plain sight, putting heart and soul into it, giving ones very self to its creation, yes simply making man kind in the palm of a hand.
a lot of the rest of this has to do with the birth of symmetry and pattern, a concept taken for granted as law now, didn't exist pre-creation.
