Based on the thumbnail I expected to see an exotic flower or some sort of tentacled creature.
But this is absolutely breathtaking.

I'm curious as to how you got such an amazing picture. The lighting is amazing and its the most
beautul and quite patriotic image I've seen in a while. Great lighting and composition. Quite beautiful. :3

That is so cool. From the thumbnail, I would've thought those were some kind of tentacles or something else floating in the water.

I saw this at the Grand Prix too! Wasn't lucky enough to get a good shot of the planes though, which is a shame

Yeah, its a shame because we had covered grandstand seats, so weren't able to see all of the maneuvers

Hmmm... I suppose the grandstand is the best place to be at a grand prix. I was at Copse corner and had an ugly fence between me and the circuit. Every car photograph of mine has a fence element in it.

That always gets on my nerves. Luckily we were at the very top row of the pits straight grandstand, so were able to stand up and get a better view. It was very windy up there though

when i saw the small thumbnail of this, i immediately thought it was a jellyfish/some sea invertebrate. needless to say it was a wonderful surprise and a gorgeous shot. what a wonderful moment to capture. great job!
