Description
Wanted to give myself an incentive to learn some photoshop postwork techniques so i rendered this image for it. After much time and deliberation, I ended up with this.Hope its gruesome enough for yas : )

you did an excellent job with the blood splatter. Extremely intense and puts you right there in the thick of the action. I think most artists go easy on blood splatters, but in doing so they reduce the realistic effect and the sense of the real brutality that comes with ancient weaponry. So I think the blood splatter is amazing.

It's not gruesome enough for me!
Unfortunately, it's also not realistic enough for me -- the action couldn't have happened; the distance from the victrix' left hand to the 'business' end of her weapon is noticeably greater than the distance from, say, the victrix' stomach to the neck of the loser. It would have been better with, say, daggers used.

Really well done. The expressions and action high light the terrific details, and the fighting harness is perfect
