Gift for for being such a nice person.It's her OC Chainey, looking a little freaked out in the fog. I dunno why it's foggy. I dunno why he has that look on his face. But he does, and I love it XD

lol it's seriously the easiest thing in the world to do, you just make a path with the pen tool following the line of the hair, convert it into a selection, then fill it with a gradient set to multiply at about 28& opacity until it's dark enough. then repeat for the other strands.
damn, that sound kinda obscure. maybe I should make a tutorial on my coloring methods. people seem to want to know...

Yes, that would kind of help a lot. If it's not too much trouble (I had to draw one for my brother once, and it was actually reeeeaaally fun).

you wanna know how to do fog?

start yourself a new layer above whatever you drew. set it to lighten, soft light, ect (play around with the light layer styles to get the effect you like).
get a big round brush and change the hardness to 0% and the flow to between 1 and 5% (don't worry about opacity, opacity is for suckers)
then just paint. press lightly until you get the desired effect. It's pretty simple.
If you want the graininess of the fog like in this picture start a layer above your background and below your subject. fill it with a texture (rusty ones work really nice, pretty much use anything besides the adobe defaults and you're good) and set that layer to overlay.
