Ironically I was about to say it looks a *lot* like an up-sized version of the V-Wing fighter seen near the end of Star Wars Ep. 3
Regardless this is still an awesome design and I am unabashedly envious of the artist's skill.

first of all, the design looks great, the game itself looks awesome aswell, i've been looking for a good space dog fight game for a REALY long time,
tried air rivals, free space, black prophecy, none of those realy spoke to me, but this one seems more action based wich is exactly what i want.
just a question, i'm in college to become either a video game programmer or a 3D/concept artist, how long did it take you to get this good,
and at what age did you realy start drawing?

it does have a monthly fee, the big draw i found was that they had one server. the game realm is huge
the big negative i found is that you can't really avoid pvp because people are dicks and go out of their way to cause problems for people

i saw several reviews and they all pretty much said that
the game's not bad, but that it gets boring after a while -_-

i have played eve for a while and only stopped because i needed the money for other more important things.
the only times i found it boring was when you went off alone and have terrible patience. if you are a loner and have adhd it is likely not the game for you but if you get in with a corperation and find your own nich in the universe it actually becomes one of the best games i have ever played. got in with a corp early on and yea it took effort to get it to grow but the fun of building a large corp the way we did made all the hard work all worth it.
my only regret is that im not rich...

so because i dislike eve because it takes forever to even get started

and if it takes so long to realy start with the game, doesn't that make

why would you say that i have adhd and that i'm a loner?
i do not have adhd, i just don't like it when a game takes forever to
accually start, that's also the main reason why i never eve got to
the end of final fantasy 13.
to me, the best game i ever played were games who combined simple,
fun gameplay with an interesting story and graphics that fit with
the setting, like portal 2, half life 2, bioshock, mass effect etc.
also, the only game i'll consider paying for monthly will be the old
republic, not something like eve online.

sorry your right i did not mean to offen, the adhd comment was showing an extreme in one direction. i mearly ment to say that it takes patience to get there. which i guess can be similer to saying it takes a while to get anywhere.
as for the loner comment. if you are a loner it is harder yes because working in groups is the easyest way to have fun, i have found that in many mmos, all the ones that i met and worked together with other people kept my interest more. thats all i meant to say.
i wont pretend to say everyone has the same tastes in their games and i personaly enjoy the building something from scratch and seeing the fruits of your labor type stuff so it appeels to me and not to everyone.

the main reason i want to play a space flying dog fight game is because
of the combat, not the empire/buisness building, eve online looks like
more of the building kind of game then the fighting, modifying your craft

well it is if you know how to find the right fights, in my corp we had different branches, and i must say our military branch was fun to serve with. one run we had this huge carrier, a bunch of other bigger ships and a lot of smaller ones. we raided a maining op run by other players and they had their guard plus some reinforcments that came just in time.
funnest space fight i have ever been a part of..
