...For some reason, I had "Be Prepared" from The Lion King stuck in my head while I drew this.Anyway, here be a new OC. Penelope! *gasp* A non-Pokemon character?! Blasphemy!
So here's her story: Some scientists were experimenting with the effects of dark matter on certain animals, and they did so on a bat with a slight genetic mutation. Penelope was the result. She can control shadows and give them solid structure (*coughWilfrecough*), but her powers are generally very weak. However, when confronted with something that could potentially cause her harm and her body slips into a fight-or-flight situation, she enters a state where her powers are much stronger and her only instinct is to annihilate everyone around her. The scientists didn't know this at first, and when an unfortunete group decided to try more painful experiments than usual on her, chaos ensued and Penelope escaped. Now a team of soldiers is hunting her, trying to bring her back to the lab, or, if things get too dangerous, kill her. Not a pleasant situation for little Penelope, especially since she has almost no idea what's going on.
And now, for once I can say...

Wow, i like her. That reminds me of a situation my charas are in, "Now a team of soldiers is hunting her, trying to bring her back to the lab, or, if things get too dangerous, kill her." my charas are being hunted by assassins trying to take them back to a lab or kill them. lulz coincidence : D
