...Alright, so it's not ultimate. But it's the largest amount of sketches I've ever put together.And yeah.... I've been trying a cartoonish style for humans in the past week. Again. Because I fail at them so much.
So this contains a lot of crappy cartoon people (some dressed as 9 characters, don't ask), older versions of Kara and Taro, a neglected character, and Fawful. Enjoy.

Yep. I decided to draw Kay more towards the way you draw her, since you gave her a better design. Kay, Sky, Olive, Kara, and Taro all make appearences in human form here.

Thanks, but you're great too! you're special because you're the only one out of everyone I watch who draws American cartoon style. And I really love it.
Those cartoons are totally hilarious! XD American cartoons have more humor than serious love or any of that anime stuff. That's what I like about them. (I hate the Spongebob series, mostly because it's pretty redundant and the main characters are just so... idiotically humorous? if that's what you call it.)
Oh, I know that series! XD I saw it a few times when I used to live in the US at a Mr. Gatti's buffet. They turned on cartoons there. The Grim Reaper is really cute.

Yeah, the humor can get old kinda fast... And they play the dang show ALL THE TIME. Seriously, last time I was at my Grandma's house and could actually watch cartoons, they played like six straight hours of nothing but Spongebob Squarepants.
I really love how they take dark and creepy things and make them comical, and how they take comical things and make them dark and creepy. Like in the last episode I saw, Mandy forced herself to smile and the fabric of the universe ripped apart, sending Grim, Billy, and Mandy into an alternate world where they were somehow the Powerpuff Girls. XD I laughed so hard.

I wonder what's up with the broadcasting guys at the TV station when they do that. They do that with old cartoons here in Korea too, saying it's a "Naruto Day" or any other "day" and then playing a single series ALL DAY. Those are the times when I miss Kids' WB, when they only did one episode of each Scooby-Doo, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and another anime a day. I prefer variety to quantity.

Niko's pretty important, too... He really helps with Kara and Taro's character developement, and he's the center of a big plot twist I'm planning. :3

Marshtomp is a doctor-y character, I've twisted up that he goes with us to Brine Cave. When Chatot gets attacked, He tends to his wounds and tells us to head off. 8D

Yup. That's the character developement as far as Taro goes.... It's a different story for Kara.

Yeah, my mind keeps traveling back to those two... But you're right, they're pretty different. (Actually, I don't know a whole lot about Sachi, so maybe that's why....)
I don't think he's too similar to Marshtomp. Niko's more of a tough guy. Kinda like those emo guys that anime fangirls always get crushes on, except nicer.

Eh, not really. Taro thinks she has, but Kara thinks of him more as a sibling. I was thinking that could lead to some more flashbacks.

Yep. Sakura's a matchmaker, and she can sense how Taro feels and how Kara's feelings are growing. She knows they're meant for each other. And she's not afraid of butting into conversations.
I think it's the appeal of "a little kindness could get them to open up." Bleh.
