Description
A tribute to the toys I loved as a child, who probably shaped a part of my life.I have this huuuuuuuuuuge collection of little Pokemon figures (and a few Digimon) in my room, that I started collecting when I was five and didn't stop until I was ten. I collected over 100 of them. And I played games and made up stories with them. They were all my characters and I loved them.
Unfortunetely, I now have to keep them on a high shelf inside a big ice cream carton thing, away from the hands of my destructive little brother. I can't really see them anymore...
I wanted to draw them a picture, to let myself know that I still care about them. These are my favorites of the collection.
Taomon, the only Digimon here, was the leader. I didn't really like Digimon as much as Pokemon, so I pretended that Taomon was an immortal fox-girl hybrid thing. She cared for orphaned Pokemon on her "island", aka my little table. Yep, all my Pokemon were orphans. Poor lil' scraps. Here Taomon is holding Baby Charmander, as she was a very motherly character.
Behind Taomon are Espeon and Umbreon, who are sisters. Both were quite strong, but a bit timid. Umbreon had a darkness inside her that took over her body once in the form of greenish goo (aka Silly Putty). Espeon usually helped her with this problem.
Cubone and Vulpix were very, very well-loved. You'll notice that Vulpix looks a bit strange, and is floating. That's because she was a ghost. She died. See, the "tribe" was constantly threatened by a disease called "Killosease" (lol, bad pun) which would slowly infect the victim's body until they died. There was no cure. Vulpix caught it. She died. But she came back as a ghost. Cubone was Vulpix's best friend before she died, and he was her best friend after, too. He was small and shy, and felt distanced from Vulpix because she was a spirit. Which sucked, 'cause he had a little crush on her...
I always loved Legendaries. Celebi and Jirachi were no exception. I didn't like Jirachi nearly as much as Celebi, but I put them together because they were a tag-team of sorts. They would've made great partners in PMD. Celebi could tame dragons (because I also loved dragons) with that magical chain she wore on her wrist. I forget how. Jirachi helped her.
And now we get to the sappy characters. Latios and Lugia. Lugia was female, understand that. Those two were deeply in love, and always spent time together. Latios could usually find time for his sister, Latias, though. I remember I once made up a scenario (actually, it was based on something I saw on TV) where Latios and Latias were blamed for a murder and Latios took all the blame. He got executed. I remember thinking "Shoot, how can I work this out so Latios doesn't stay dead?" and then deciding to make it all a nightmare of Latias's. I later decided it was a stupid way to end the story.
So now I've introduced you to some of my first characters. There are countless others, like Cyndaquil (who couldn't speak), Suicune and Houndour (BFFs), and the Pikachu family (I had a lot. I named them Pikachu, Annchu, Juliechu, and Sparkychu.) Boy, was I naive. XD
I wanted to do something special for my 200th deviation.X3
I don't own Pokemon or Digimon

I only have 6 pokemon figures and a plush eevee cause theyre hard to find where I live....I used to play really weird games with them... in one game Nidoking was the boss of this gang (with an ekans and a gengar) and theyd kidnap the good pokemon, a charmander, khangaskhan and a pikachu, then put them in a submarine (AKA a plastic bag) and make them search for trasure in the spa...if they didnt find any, they would be locked up.by the way, do you think you'll do another picture like this but with the restof your toys? 'Theyre fun to read about.

Interesting... I remember a recurring game that involved a toy pirate ship full of Pokemon going down a waterfall (the stairs). XD
Probably not. I just wanted to let people know that the little guys existed.

If you feel the need to know, I have a torchic figurine sitting on my computer right now. I didn't play with it much as a child (seeing as I got it when I was twelve) but I still love it.

Nice storys! When was younger I came upwith stupid stories like "OH NOES LUGIA IS STUCK INA "Cage" WITH LOTS OF HOLES AND HE SOMEHOW CANT GET OUT!" I'd sometimes come up with "better" storys but when I look back at them now i notice how bad they really are

whoa that is awesome! I never got pokemon figures 'cause my mom and my dad didn't buy me figures. They said I wouldn't play with them. But I had this (fat) Pikachu Plushi that I won on a festival. It was a bit ugly but I liked it though. Then a few years later my mom and I were shopping and I saw that cute new Pikachu Plushi and wanted it. But my mother said if I got that I had to throw away the old one. (Wich I loved really.) I said yes and as we went out of the store I throwed the old one away ._. Now I am sad about that. I think it's important to keep old things tat you really loved in your mind. And you have a lot of great characters there and a lot of phantasy. That are true tresures ^^.

I never collected the figures, I got the plushies ^^ actually, I only stopped collecting a few years ago
I got rid of them all last year (except for Charizard and Torchic, my favourites), but I miss them dearly.
I also collected TYs and improvised with them (e.g, the blue tit was Articuno)
It seems babyish now, but... I loved them...

You remind me of the days when I played around with my Barbie dolls. I didn't have many pokemon figures, but I had a lot of Barbies (I feel really stupid right now) and I played with them a lot. And now I recall that I wasn't so innocent then, because I would always make up some sort of murder or abduction mystery with my barbies. Yesh. it was mostly murder. I would get all these ribbons and strings from my art box and tie up my barbies one by one and pretend to hang them, burn them at the stake, etc etc.
And there were my Harry Potter legos! There wasn't much to do to torture them (I loved torturing Ginny the most XD) so I made them get eaten by the Basilisk. Boy, that Chamber of Secrets set was my most favorite set... it even had a little toilet thing for the girls' bathroom scene!
Sometimes i just want to forget everything and go back to my little kiddie days. It's just that I wasn't so innocent back then. Maybe it was my runaway imagination, but....
which reminds me, you've got a great imagination too! Do you get good grades in Language Arts or anything to do with writing?

I remember making up all sorts of stories for my Pokemon figures to act out. Most of the time I would have them play school with the students being complete idiots except for two (a Treecko named Bartholomew and a Mudkip named Bob) and the teachers being complete jerks by ruining the fun of the insane students. I think that's how I first came up with the idea for my Mew character, Blinx.
Anyway, awesome picture. *brick'd for not having anything else to say*

I didn't collect Pokemon figures, but I did collect cards. I get new ones, sometimes. But I don't collect them really anymore. XD
But yea, I have stuffed animals. I used to make up stories with them when I was little. (I still sleep with my white bear, named Beary, who I've had since I was born...because I'm afraid to sleep alone...o.o; And uh, yea. Original name, eh? XD)
I love my Beary. ;A;

You're welcome.
I was going to post something with a similar thought in the relatively near future.
Years ago I'd draw pictures of places for little toys to visit with a story line behind them and there'd be different maps with different places.
I drew a big map of all of them merged together (some places cut and some new) and have a big story behind it.
