Description Long-time followers may know that my fursona wasn't always a quadrupedal lynx, it was bipedal at some point.

As an experiment, I tried to give it a look closer to the real-life me and....eh
I dunno, those clothes don't fit.

They say fursonas are a form of wish fulfillment, but the only wish being fulfilled here is that I could wear that scarf as nicely as it is doing.

Those feet!! I'll never get over lynx snowshoes.

An excellent interpretation of this fella! I love how chose the clothing-- I can totally see you wearing something this big IRL, though not so much for fursona ahaha--, and your rendering is great as always. My favorite part of this is the undersketch, roughly-textured and a bit easier to see in the WIP. What program do you use, and what kind of brush? It looks great, you use it well!

It's a really nice fleece, big comfty and soft, and I'm heartbroken the heat makes it impossible to wear during the summer!

True, I've always felt awkward smothering my undersketches completely, because I've always felt like I don't have the linework nor a clarity in painting for my images to work completely without it.

My workhorse for quite a while now has been Krita, and I recently did a spring cleaning in the brushes so it's just the default brushes for now: there's a good overview of them here

Krita now, dang! I've heard that program has a wicked high learning curve, and can agree because I've used it once myself, but you use it impressively!

Rest assured, it is not always such gentles noises coming out of lynx mouths:Β news.nationalgeographic.com/20…

I dunno. I haven't heard of it having a particularly higher learning curve than any learning any other full-featured digital art application. Recently tried to use Clip Studio Pro and that too did my head in - just the stress of using a new application

Woa, cool ^^ nice to mett you, or at least the furred version of you

The cloths are ok, maybe they are a bit large compared to the body

The clothes are big, soft and snug and that's just the way I like it! I meant "these clothes don't fit" an a more metaphorical sense, in a "I'm not comfortable with this form" manner.Β
heck, if you look at the early WIP of it, you can see itself look uncomfortable with standing there - an honest error or a Freudian slip revealing how I really felt about that ordeal? DunnoΒ

Sure the finished version have a better expression, in fact, as you say, the WIP look a bit unconfortable in its position.
The important thing is to find a way to fit with your self, with some practise

PS I also love larger cloths, the more confortable, the better
my mom and friends often fight with me to convinceto put something of more fitting or elegat, I'm like ..."no, thank"
