i've always really wanted to play those games (espeically explorers of sky and the resue team ones) but i still dont have a ds

I highly recommend them(especially Explorers of Sky) if you ever get a Ds. There isn't a lot to do after the story line, besides train up and try doing missions with a different team than one you start the game with, but it's chock full of beautiful sprite artwork and a wonderful story that is fun and energetic, while still having nice quiet/saddening moments.
The epilogue and prologues that Sky has are great as well~
