I hope finishing this at almost 5am isn't affecting my judgement. I guess I'll find out if I still like it or not when I wake up.Attempt at an Al Bhed eye.
I can't make the swirl too prominent without it looking really weird, so it's faint, but I hope it still stands out.
I still suck at eyebrows, boo.
I'm doing Yuna eyes soon! Then Zack. And alll Final Fantasy character eyes. They all have such beautiful eyes.
Title's Al Bhed for "What Do You See?", btw.
To : I'd really like some tips on shading, particularly the skin around the eye, and I'd like some help with eyebrows and eyelashes too.
The eye here is of a certain fictional race in a video game, so it's obviously not completely realistic as it sports a green swirl instead of a regular iris, so don't mind that. But if you have any tips on how to make the iris more 'lifelike', I'd love to hear them, too. Thank you!

That's not awful, it's awesome! I remember trying to learn Al Bhed too, but all that's stuck with me is "fyed" and "cunno".

I think the green swirl looks great. It's noticeable, even though it's faint.
To make it more lifelike, I think you just need more and sharper details. It looks like it's a bit out of focus right now.
