Description
This is my contribution for the "Manga Talente" contes in 2012 in Leipzig ^^.Topic: Opposites.
My choice: Light and shadow.
I think that light and shadow are not shown that good >.<. Maybe I shouldn't have made the background pink^^'. My first idea was a blue background which overflow into white. But I don't have so much good blue pencils u.u...
But I actually like this picture this way (with pink xD).
Hope that there can be seen maybe some opposites at least.
And this black hair killed me =_=... I will never draw such long black hair again! Never ever >.(at least not on A4...)
My favourite part of the picture is the color of the eyes of the boy *_*! I like this yellow a lot.

I really love this! I'm glad to know that long black hair kills other people other than myself. It's so annoying that two of my OC's have black hair. Long.

I used a brown colour pencis :3. But for the black hair I used a black one.

and can u tell me how to get different shades using color pencils? because i have that problem often where my work turns shallow because of the coloring =.='' (although the line art was good >.<) and how to get a gradient color?

Different shades: Uf, that's a good question. I will try to explain this. But you should know that there are a lot of ways to colour with colour pencils and that I just can tell you the way I do it. Besides it's really hard to only tell this (with my horrible english ^^'). It is easier to show this >.<. But I will try :3!
The first thing you need are a lot of different colours ^^'. It's easier to colour with colour pencils when you have more different colour then the usual ones, because it's sometimes hard to mix the colours to one colour, so it's better to have all colours you need as one pencil.
When I draw shades in a picture, I first use the brightest colour. For example the skin: I first use my brightest skin pencil and colour the whole skin as soft as I can with this pencils (so that the colour is everywhere evenly spread). And while doing this I also draw some shades. But they are not really noticeable. Afterwards I use another pencil for colouring the skin and try to deepen the shades and also the basic skin colour. And afterwars I use a third pencils xD (this is nearly brown) to ONLY deepen the really dark shades.
So you should use different pencils to deepen the shades and this pencils should better have similar colours.
But as I said, there are a lot of other ways to do this. Some people told me that they use purple for the shades on a yellow dress o_O. But I do not want to do this that way ^^'. I do not dare to try this xD. Can't undestand that this can look good.

Gradient colour: So you mean somethink like: You start with blue and end with yellow. And in the middle you have some other colours?
Try to beginn with the brightest colour (actually, what ever I colour, I always beginn with the brightest colour xD) and colour as soft as you can. It's better to colour it several times really soft with the same colour to make the colour darker than to start to colour it dark and then to have some places where the colour gradient is interrupt.
And when you want to have a colour shift between two different colours, you need to colour with the first colour more than the half of the place. And to start colouring with the second colour at the point before you stopped to colour with the first one. So that you have a place in the middle which you coloured with both colours.
It's hard to explain this in english, I'm so sorry that I can't explanit it better >.<. Hope that I still could help >_<.

HG: Uf, da fragst du was o.o. Erst vorhin die Anatomie frage und dann das xD, alles schwierige Fragen.
Aber bei solchen HG's mache ich manchmal eine Probe am PC. D.h. ich scanne das Bild ohne HG ein und zeichne am PS den HG, probiere solange aus bis es mir gefällt. Und wenn ich was habe, dann zeichne ich das zusagen ab, wobei ich die PS-Vorlage meist nur als Richlinie nutze.
Wie ich das gemacht habe: Immer mit der hellen Farbe anfangen, nicht zu viel aufdrücken und dann immer stärker werden. Wenn man hell und schwach aufdrückend anfängt, kann man die Übergänge leicht machen.
Hoffe, dass das verständlich war udn irgendwie hilfreich >.<.

xDD is nich schlimm, ich vergess manchmal auch so einiges...ja, ich hab an halloween geburtstag ^^ da das (bei uns zumindest) kein feiertag is, eigentlich wie ein ganz normaler tag, bis auf das man beglückwünscht wird und geschenke bekommt xDD
ich feier noch mit 2 freundinnen (wir gehen ins kino :3) aber sonst mach ich nichts großes... ich denke mal, wenn ich nächstes jahr 18 werde, wird das etwas größer, aber 17 is nich soo besonders...

Man muss Geburtstage auch nicht unbedingt so groß feiern :3. Ist im kleinen Ramen meist auch viel schöner. Sonst hat man nur Stress mit den Vorbereitungen.

das stimmt, ich war auch froh, dieses jahr keinen stress zu haben, und mit meinen 2 besten freundinnen ins kino zu gehen (und vorallem schon ne halbe stunde da sitzen, bevor es überhaupt losgeht xD) war wirklich sehr entspannend ^^ und dann noch essen gehen x33

Ich hab dir ja schon gesagt, wie ich das Bild finde *O* Und ui, du hattest ja dann den Hintergrund doch noch per Hand gemacht? :3 Ich dachte, du würdest das mit PC lassen, find's aber eh besser so *O*

Natürlich habe ich den HG per Hand gemacht :3. Wie hätte ich es denn sonst hinschicken können o.o? Die PC Datei war nur dafür da, damit ich weiß, wo ich was anordnen soll^^ und zum ausprobieren, ob es passt.
