The second upload of my WIP of Master Chief from the Halo series. It's no where near completion, the bottom of the image is where i am up to on the canvas XD So far i've been working on it for 14 hours, with probably an estimate of 30-40 more *groans* I love how it's turning out so far though. Done with loose charcoal, a carbon sketch and a white charcoal pencil.Here is the completed version if you are interested ^^ note: i'm still doing some minor tweaks to fix up the parts i don't like so far

Yeah. I`ve figured out how to shade clothing, faces, and animals, and all that stuff, but armor has always been my downfall. Thanks for being polite in your reply, too!

So how black was your finger after shading this guy ?
I never have any smudge sticks laying around where I can find them so whenever I'm in the middle of a tranquil drawing like that , I end up with my index finger turning out black as the night sky even after wiping it on some scrap paper or washing them under water .

I catually never like to smudge with my finger, unless I absolutly have nothing I can use with me. I use whatever I can get my hands on, Tissues, paper, Paper towels, andything really. The oil in your fingers can actually stain the paper, leaing horrible fingerprints on places and sometimes they can't be rectified. It's stressful Lol.

Simply amazing and quite refined. The medium you used to create this was a well choice. It brings much realism to Master Cheifs Armor.
