I think I speak for every player that defilers are horrid
They are the sole reason I deep strike my Lictors every single game so I can possibly have a chance of taking it out before it starts lobbing shells and taking out huge chunks of my army

It's true, the tentacles could have been more defined and shaded, but still excellent work. I'm an Imperial Guard player and have never faced chaos, much less a defiler. Though I'm sure it wouldn't be a match for my plethora of lascannons and deep striking meltaguns. Hoorah! The marine player in the picture is stupid. He's sending his bolter marines after it. Heh.

I agree, Defilers kick alot of ass.
Although I thought the were smaller than this (but my experience comes from the Dawn of War PC game, so I'm not sure on the reliability of scale)
Looks great, my only gripe is that I think the tentacles could have done with some fine detail to give it more shape, other than that it's brilliant.

i was probably a bit foulish to have change to good old Imperial guard when around half the players in my area play Chaos and most have a Defiler - Lascannon time me thinks.
