Ha.. Fun.. Fun..Decided to do Jess in a sd/chibi form..
Ok, semi-chibi form as I really don't like this one particular stereotypical chibi/sd manga style that most folks are using.. That turns characters legs and arms into sausage-shaped, feet-less and finger-less er.. Forms without bones and joints.
Yeah..
That's it.

Hmmm if you look at Koji Fujishima's SDs they're SDs only because they have big heads but their bodies are perfectly usual, so to speak. If you look at Naoko Takeuchi's SDs they have normal bodies, too. SD is then something more than what you've described. It also is more symbolic in its form than realistic so no need to point out their fingerlessness or feetness or sausage-like limbs. Few people actually pretty much enjoy it

Maybe if I submitted a bigger version you could see the difference between this drawing and [link] - Koma on the right. But thanks God you're the only one who had problems with that so it seems that this version is ok
