Yep. Saw the vid billions of times na. Hahaha. They're putting in about 11 new characters so I hope Rinoa is one of them. Vaan made it in and he sucks so I don't see the reason why Rinoa can't. Hahaha. XD

I don't. Hahahaha. I'll take you up on that point. Hehe. Rinoa is strong willed though she doesn't have exactly the capability to fight opposing to Terra who has the ability but is a pacifist. But consider though that Rinoa is the most powerful sorceress in FF considering that she does have Edea, Adel's and later on, Ultimecia's powers. If time works the same way in Dissidia as to FFVIII, then Rinoa should have those latent abilities.
Personally, I think Rinoa compared to Tifa is a character that develops over the story unlike Tifa. Tifa already knew who she was unlike both Squall and Rinoa who had to grow as the story progressed which is for me, more realistic.
Anyway, that's me ranting since a lot of people don't like her since she's annoying. I think she's just acting her age though. 
Anyway, I hope she does make it. There are a few more slots left after all. Besides, I'm sure she can contribute a lot to the story of 012.

we all love and fight for our favorite characters so i dont mind at all^_^
yup hope to see her too in Dissidia 012, im sure tifa, and yuna will be too... all i see majority is there were 2 only females in the 1st Dissidia game (cloud of darkness and ultimecia) in which both antagonists... and terra was the only mage they had on the protagonist side.
no wonder they put more women to the game such as Lightning of FFXIII (leading character of Dissida 012) along with Warrior of light, the 2 were the only resemblance of both similar attitude characters.
well lets say we wait for the actual game to be released next year and i hope to see more characters for me to make more costumes (cross fingers) and more fan arts asides for me to GUNDAMS ^_^

Nomura did state that he wanted more females and Lightning and Tifa being in, that sure confirms his statement. There's also an imbalance on character and side distribution so not necessarily, each character will have an opposing character.
I love CoD. Her lasers are the bomb. It annoys me that she doesn't say much in the game though. Hahaha. Yeah, WoL and Lightning sure seem similar. Sana April na! XD
I'm sure more will be announced for you merry costume making. There are at least five more months for new characters.
