sometimes i think that we all forget that it's not about the destination, rather it's the journey or the path that matters. you need to take the time to enjoy the moment and stop worrying about what is going to happen tomorrow. who said you will be here tomorrow ?- life is one big journey.

yeh was bored today so i decided why not go up to springbrook and take some photos. this one is of this really old path that is closed to the public now, used to muck round on it a fair bit as a kid. still the same.

ahh yeh i was in a verry thoughtfull mood that day - certain things had not really been goign my way at all and i was kinda focussing on them, part of the reason i went up there to take photos lol to think bout crap. i love that place it's so relaxing and i think it's the memories i have of there and how it's still all the same pretymuch. gives me a good feeling. thanks again for your awesome words

hah ayeh i would love to live up their again but it's way to impractical for me at the moment lol. it is nice to go and visit though. you should definately come and see it ! it is a nice place ( lol i think the whole gold coast is a great place ). hmm hopefully when i like retire it's still as untouched as it is now so i can go back and live there

yeh i had to touch the colours up a bit to get them back to more like how they really were. it is surprisingly jungly up there in bits. it's really awesome

That's pwnography! Look at those flavor flavs! Really cool shot, very fantasy-ish. Nice colours, composition and lighting (not that you really had a choice in the last one : P).

alright so i stared at this for a good while and decided i absolutely adore this, it's hard to believe it's a real place! i like how it's dark under the branchy things and light in the back, it makes it look all surreal, and that's awesome

haha yeh i had to edit a little to get the colours back more to how they looked like in real life. the path hasn't been used for so long so it's all completely covered with moss. i was like OMG THAT LOOKS AWESOEM ! lol. we used to go up there so much. but back then it haddn't been shut down for as long (lol like 7 years ago). lol but now it's hard to get through some bits cos it's like nearly solid trees ! ll at one point the path kinda dissapears and you just have to guess. it's cool at the top but there is this lookout thing up there - i will have to show you one day !
