Description
As the title says, i've been playing around a little again~This time i ended up with a much more... watercolour-y look i guess?
I quite like working like this, however sometimes it's a little harder than normal to apply shadows and such... (good examples being the dark side of the face+ the hair above that)
Anyway~!
Here's hoping you guys like it~.

I like it but it's just has that problem of picking between rough shapes and smoothed lines you know?

well you see the clouds and the wings have rough shapes to them defined corners to the shading with the hair and body and the clothes have smoothed out shading
its two flavors but instead of blending they clash a little here

Oooh, right, In the case of the wings, they are actually smoothed out shapes, it's just the shading is all mismatch like that to make it look like feathers/wings Otherwise it'd just look like my usual smooth wings that doesn't look all that nice.
The clouds... well they're clouds They're meant to be fluffy~
But yeah >^<

mmm but do you see what i mean though? there is smooth lighting going on and rough lighting going on at the same time doing that can actually look good but other times not so much because one form of shading can distract from the other you know? like the wings totally steal the spot light from the rest of the picture when it comes to shading its more wide brushed painty style you know? it's just interesting I'll grab you some examples of what im trying to say here cuz words are hard:
[link] see? smooth with rough
[link] it has different extremes to it like a little bit rough with the smooth or rough with a little smooth it's just that perfect blend that takes practice to get right it would be super cool to see you experiment much more with the brushes and maybe even limiting yourself to using only one or two brush on a picture to get a feel of what the different brush shapes can do for you you know? challenges can be fun~ and educational <3

I still really don't quite get what you mean. xD
Also, brush wise, i usually do only use one brush... :U For softer stuff i use a "soft" brush, and for my usual stuff i use my "hard" brush
