haha isis is...a strange kitty (lol like her owner). there are certain people she allows near her, and certain people she just..well, doesn't. she's not violent, she's never scratched or bitten anyone. she basically does that cold shoulder thing.
although those people are few and far between. she's a good judge of character basically.

It can be. Its one of those vowel rules that screw me up. ITs one like for every three vowel sounds you can knock out the middle sound like in samedi. Samedi I can say. Its phrases like "Je me suis beacoup amusรฉe." Two e's for me because I'm female.
The two e's don't screw me up. It's looking at it I want to pronounce the 'me' when your supposed to join it with the suis so it sounds like m'suis and soud me suis. That confuses me...and imperfect. Translating english into french can be hard because french doesn't always match up with english and that's difficult especially for my project. I'm siting at the computer typing my letter adn I stop and think, "How do I say "I was scared of them" in french?" because the french text and english text don't match. It's not like saying a phrase like 'that doesn't please me' which can be translated into french as 'รa ne me plaรฎt pas.' The not exact match up could be because french is place under the romance language group while enlgish is from the germanic language group. It's not difficult all the time, it's when you think and talk in a germanic language and then trying to speak and think a romance language becomes difficult.
So, for my french project I have four sources of french translating devices near me- two workbooks, a textbook and a french-english english-french dictionary.

haha. i finished the damned letter so thats done with. Thank God. No more sticking my nose in the dictionary trying to figure out a word in french only to find it's not in my dictionary (which makes me really mad because aren't all dictionaries supposed to have all the words used in the language?). And, at least I won't be tasting bouillabaisse when I go to Provence. The picture made me even more assured I won't be tasting that food anytime soon. I got mainly got all the french writing out of the way which means easy sailing now.

There is too much words, expression, etc. for being in a french/english dictionnary... If you had a real french dictionnary, you could find anything
For the bouillabaisse, I think I don't like it, I don't like all that compose this meal... (I'm not sure my sentence is correct...

Its not so much about the composition and ingredients of the meal, it's how it's prepared. If I see heads and guts and shells and legs in my food I will not eat it.

Dictionary wise, I hear you. Go to another country and finding a good english dictionary can be difficult. I think that can be established in any country that doesn't speak english as a main language. Finding a good one here in the states can be difficult because so many companies make english dictionaries you don't know which one's are good to buy.
We really don't have specialty foods here in the states. Well, kinda. Go to Wisconsin and you must try brats because the germans settled there. Where I live, corn seems to be it. New Orleans has a lot of the french foods because it was settled by the french. It's tricky here because there's too many cultures so there's really no specialty (and coming from me, that says a lot. I've lived in almost every region in the USA). Oh yea, Alaska has blubber or something of that sort.

I know New Mexico and Arizona are big for rattlesnake and cactus(don't ask me why rattlesnake though. There happens to be a lot of desert down there), Wisconsin is brats, dairy (Cheese especially)and beer, East coast is seafood, , florida and california is oranges,, midwest wheat and corn, texas is beef, kentucky is chicken and I cant think of anymore. lol.
