Channel helps remove the white portion of a pic, leaving only the lines. It's easier for coloring.

no, i understand what channels are! i was just saying what good is a graphics program without adjusting the channels? lol and cs4 came out like 3 months ago. i posted a journal about it and even linked people to a free version, but u missed out!
