I've been rather busy but here's one of the pieces that was originally done for the 3063 TRO project. This one apparently will not appear in the project so I decided to tinker with it. I have a few others to post when I get the time.This particular Black Knight is in a House Marik unit colors. Oddly I found no reference with the actual Marik logo. That's team pride.
Also the line-art here was originally done by I hear some people have heard of him

The guy they tasked with painting the mech slipped through the eye check, they didnยดt know he is colorblind!
But his commander liked the irony, so they left it this way.
After all, confusing the enemy is an important aspect of warfare, even in the 31th century!

It's TRO: 3063 - and we were going to use it in the art section. Heh. We may still. You did very well on this one.

If memory serves me right, Marik colours are purple and has an eagle as an emblem - think Roman.

Some of them are. 4th Oriente Hussars use shades of green though according to the books. Many units strayed from the House colors oddly enough.

You could say that. This is a Project Retread version. We got rid of the small laser because nothing says 75-ton BattleMech like a bit of the old 'pew-pew' from the cockpit. Not.
The right arm carries a Gauss rifle. The left arm carries two ER Large Lasers. There is a Medium laser in each torso location. New Ferro-fibrous armor accounts for the new looks.
