Description
Finished. I'm not entirely satisfied with this piece but what Im satisfied with is that I finished it. I sometimes leave too many unfinished drawings and/or cg paintings around. Its a really bad habit I need to kick. Once you finish something you are able to reflect on what was done and I think that's very important.Things have gotten quite busy so this might be the last weekly enviro.

Could you tell us what you aren't satisfied with .. i thought about writing a critique but couldn't find something unsatisfying about it from my perspective.

I use Adobe Photoshop mostly and Sai from time to time. I`d like to give Painter some more time in the future.

I love the city. It looks like it was so easy to do but I get the strong feeling that it wasn't at all.
Amazing scenery all over! Love the high contrast on the ground. The little details like the high-way are great. Her hover-scooter reminds me of a vespa in a way. Very neat.
I'm not sure, but it looks like her right leg is a little too far off. Like that it's too far out too be on the scooter like her other leg is. I would say that the shading on her left leg seems a little too hard given the light. Unless she is coming under the shadows of the city?
Those buildings are great, I'd love to be able to do buildings like that. And I've got to say, I'm absolutely diggin' her socks.

I grew quite disappointed towards the middle but I kept truckin on. Hopefully this will become easier in the future.

Funny, I would've imagined a feature like the Critique thing would work better if non-subscribed had the ability to use it. .__.
Anyway. To echo another comment, I love the upside-down city idea. Very rarely done. The jet scooter has this interesting retro-future vibe going with the 50s-reminiscent seating, but the overall roundness in the design gives it a modernistic touch.
What truly stands out here, though, is the composition and perspective. The eye is lead by the girl's movement straight to the heart of the city and aided by the angling of the entire background. There's just this sense of undeniable hugeness.
Strong work, man. Keep it up.

I love this. It's very imaginative and has a great touch of sex appeal to balance things out.
I like how it looks like an upside down city...reminds me of the first visit to Solaris in the classic RPG Xenogears.
