Description
After Kingston died, a week later I bought this little guy and the horrible Petsmart that's about 10 miles or so away from my house. I saw this little guy on the shelf, a little beaut, but very sad when I got him :c He didn't move around or do nothing at all, just sat there being depressed. (The good Petsmart is where I got Atlas and Orlando, this one is very notorious for mistreating their fish) After I got him, I put him in my 5 Gallon Tropical tank with a couple of my other fish I had. He would never come out of his house and refused to eat for a week. He apparently stored air in the house I had in the tank so he never had to leave. I took him out of the tank after the residents started to pick on him and ever since has been a hyperactive little guy! Right now, I believe he may have some fin rot due to living in the tropical tank. His usual white fins are tinted red.He has not grown for the past 23+ days I've had him >.> He will be forever a small fry
Facts about Pisces SO FAR~
-He HATES Betta Pellets. He only eats Betta Buffet Flakes.
-Is so-so about eating Bloodworms.
-He thinks he's HUGE. Tries to take on Orlando and Atlas ALL THE TIME. Though, I am pretty sure they would win the fight.
-He is EXTREMELY hyperactive and is constantly moving. Unlike my other Betta's who kinda like to sleep all day.
-He gets REALLY EXCITED when you talk to him.
-When his tank is being cleaned, I have him a cup that I carry around the house so he can watch tv. However he is not interested in the tv, only me, so will only stare at me and if I move a little bit, he will spaz.
-He's a very aggressive eater! OMNOMNOMNOM.

Beautiful! My little Veiltail Denver is a lazy butt as well. I just got him after my halfmoon passed away, and he will swim around, come say hello, then take a nap in his plants. At first I thought he was ill, but then I noticed he was still active, he just likes sleeping.
Its so cool how these fish all have such different personalities.

Thank you! ^^
Oh no! That's sad! I am so sorry to hear that
I wonder what was up with that plant....do you know what kind it was? I had some of my plants almost killed my fish once, I had to take them out, come to find out you have to quarantine them and stuff to make sure they are disease free first

when i got the plants they were in a plastic tube with weird jello looking stuff. i washed them before putting them in,but i guess quarantine is the way to go
i also have to be super careful about the rest of my fishie's food because if there's any left in the tank overnight it grows mildew or something

Ah yeah, that's what I got mine in too The one I bought I think was called a Ribbon plant, huge leaves with a white stripe down the middle of each one.

Fitting name isn't it?
Neptune [Poseidon] is the God of the sea . It's my favourite planet and Roman / Greek God.

He's a Delta tail. They are by far the prettiest of the betta fish. He's especially lovely and lucky you found him!
Mine is very active as well more so than my common betta. I think it must be a trait for Delta tails.

Oh yeah, I know a delta when I see it. Their tails form a D-shape when they fan them up, hence the name. They are just so personable too. Mine is named Buttons, very playful little guy. His name is Buttons... because he's cute as a button LOL. He's red with white lips but the white is exactly the shape of human lips pursed.

Aw he's cute! But I thought beta fish had to live in a tank by themselves because they attack other fish

They can live with tropical fish, as long as the types don't look like Betta's, like Guppies for example, they look very Betta-like
