My entry for 's Special Some Pony Contest! Since I have never drawn this character (Been working on other things) I thought I would enter her into this contest ^^ Her backstory and personality will be attached to this until I can get a decent sketch of her done~

Name: Serenity Frost (Or Serene Frost)
Gender: Female
Breed: Mixed Breed (2/4 Pony, 1/4 Deer, 1/4 Yak)
Age: ???
Family: One known brother. (Picture Missing at the moment)

-When Serenity was a foal, she was often pestered and teased for looking so odd. The other kids often made fun of her horns, saying that they were "growing weird" and that she was "deformed" because of it. Her dark collar of fur that was coming in at the time, was also poked fun at for looking like "manly chest hair" or a "beard." This really messed with Serenity's self esteem and overall mood, and soon, she was pulled out of school and home schooled.

-She is the only sibling that had horns grow from the sides of her head. The others tend to look like normal Earth Ponies. (With maybe a little too much excessive hair haha)

-Being homeschooled, Serenity has not had many interactions with others. She is shy and a little awkward, and trips often over her words when another pony tries to speak to her. Any romantic gestures will send this girl into a nervous stuttering mess, and will send her running for the hills because she's so flustered. If you bring up something she loves, she will come out of her shell and talk almost endlessly (but in a calm sort of happy/confident manner, not an excited manner) When she trusts someone, she is shown not to be a total awkward mess, but a kind and gentle mare who talks softly.

-Her favorite pass time is to drink tea and sit at home, reading a good book. Her favorite books being of exciting adventures, often dreaming of going on one herself in some exotic land, but she is afraid to do so on her own.

-She is very skilled florist, and loves everything to do with plants. She can often be found at the flower store or in her own personal green house growing all sorts of plants.

-The cold doesn't bother the mare much, winter is actually one of her favorite seasons, (next to Spring, when all the trees are blooming and the plants come alive) due to all the still and quiet with everything being blanketed in crisp white snow.

-She is not one to go out into public often. She is afraid of the ponies judging stares, like she had recieved when she was a foal. So when she does go in public, she often wears a hood and scarf combo to hide her horns and neck fur, even during hot weather, which gets odd looks from other ponies.

-Because of her mixed heritage, she is unable to aquire a cutie mark. This often troubles the young mare, because this means she is unlike the other ponies.

-She wants nothing more than to fit in, but after meeting Zenith, she starts to learn to accept who she is.
