Description

"AAAAAGGGGHHH!!!" A horrible scream pierced through a brunette teen girl's head set, making her cringe in pain. Her green eyes were wide as she stared at the computer screen before her, her heart skipped a beat when she saw one of her Warriors pinned under a beast only known to her as a Griphon. The screaming had ceased, all that could be heard now was a horrible gagging sound as the Warrior struggled to breathe underneath the weight of the beast, gold locks thrashed from side to side in an attempt to break free.

It was none other than Aiden.

"There seems to be a glitch in the program-" The brunette girl said frantically, typing at the keys furiously, "but-but, I don't understand-This wasn't supposed to happen!"

"Well come on Taleia! We can't just leave him there, he can actually die!!" A kid named Chris snapped at her in worry, "Devirtualize him now!"

"I CAN'T!" She said with a slight whine in her voice, "If we devirtualize him, that thing will come into the real world with us! We can't risk it!" Her eyes darted all over the screen, "The only way he can be saved is if that monster is destroyed first!"

Christopher's eyes widened, as he starred in horror at the screen. His friend was in real danger!

A low hissing sound came from Aiden's throat, as though he was trying to say something, but couldn't. Suddenly there was a burst of light, the blonde's mouth opened in a silent scream as his suit started to malfunction, electricity darted everywhere as the beast pressed its claws against Aiden's chest. The armor that was supposed to be protecting Aiden had now become a death trap.

At this rate, Aiden was going to be crushed.

"SETH!" Taleia called out over the mic, eyes glued to the screen as she typed. "Seth are you alright in there?!"

"Come on Seth answer her!!"

He was no where in sight on the map.

"SETH WHERE ARE YOU?! ANSWER ME!!!" Chris yelled, grabbing the mic from Taleia as he listened carefully for his voice.

No answer.

"...That is a negative Reins..." A horse, low groan finally answered. He was hanging off the edge of the map, hence the reason for being completely invisible to them.

A sigh of relief emitted from the two. Taleia grabbed her mic back from Chris, she ordered Seth, "Come on Seth! What are you doing? Aiden needs you right now!" Everything was going to be alright soon.

"Ugh!" Seth's voice growled in pain as he pulled himself up and over back onto land, safe from the digital sea below. Seth began to pull himself across the ground. Pressing his palms to the mirror like floor, he eased himself up before he collapsed back to the ground again.

"Something seems to be wrong," Seth's hiss echoed in Taleia's ear. A look of worry came across her and Christopher's face.

"I can't...move my legs," Seth growled in frustration, stopping time for Taleia and Chris. The brunette's mouth hung open in terror.

"No!" She yelled, as she started to check on Seth's vital meters, in which blinked red in the leg section on his body scan.

"His legs seem to have been damaged from the impact from the Griphon!" Taleia said, her eyes wide as she began to panic. "But something is not right...they should not have stopped working like this!" A malfunction in the program had temporarily froze Seth's legs when the Griphon had attacked him and Aiden head on. There was no warning, no sign it was coming as Seth was flung almost into the digital sea, leaving Aiden, weaponless. Taleia was now frantically starting to search her way around it to get Seth's legs working again before it was too late.

Blood ran out of Aiden's mouth and he coughed, something that wouldn't have been possible before in this world. A purple ball of burning light was now forming in the Griphon's mouth, ready to wipe out this Anti-Virus. If something was not done soon, he would soon be destroyed.
