"Kota, listen, I need you to be on your best behavior today," a brunette haired woman smiled at a young boy at around 8 years of age, she was down at his level, patting wrinkles out of his t-shirt as she spoke, "Today, you are going to meet mommies friend, you remember my friend, right?"

The little boy sighed. Of course he remembered. She was all his mom talked about for as long as he could remember after all.

"Yes Moooomm-" Kota lightly whined. "The kitty cat, I know..."

The mother paused, and gave her son "the look." It was the kind of look that most kids feared getting from their parents, when they had did something terribly wrong. She blinked a few times, before she asked again, "Nooooww Kota, this is really important for us. I have not seen her in years, and she has never seen you before. And I know for sure that she has been dying to meet you. So please, be on your best behavior, alright? Remeeeembbbeeer, good boys get ice creeeeam~"

"Okay Mom!" Kota piped without hesitation, his reward was a ruffling of hair from his mother. However, she quickly realized her mistake and pulled out a comb and began fixing the mess she made. Kota's face scrunched up in annoyance, his head was forced to look down at the paved path under his feet. He hated when his mom got into one of these moods. "I look- fine- Mom..." Kota complained in between brushes.

"There, all better!" the woman sighed triumphantly, looking at his hair with pride. She then eased herself off the ground and began to lead Kota down the path, "Now come on Kota, she should be here any minute-"

"But what about Dad? Isn't he coming?" Kota questioned.

"Your father is busy with work, when he gets the time, he will come right on over. So until then, you are the big man of the house, alright?"

"Alright!" Kota nodded. He was the man of the house! That meant he had to be strong a serious like Dad-

4 hours.

They had been waiting 4 hours-

Okay, maybe it was like 10 minutes, but 10 minutes to a kid is more like 4 hours. Kota was starting to get antsy; he swung his legs back and forth as he sat on top of a rock wall. "Moooom, when is she gonna be here?"

"Any minute honey- just hang on for a bit longer alright?"

"Uuggghhhh-fine," the boy sighed. There was a light breeze that rustled the palm trees, as Kota jumped down from the ledge and onto the soft green grass.

"Sakana??? Sakana!!!" A yell pierced the silence, catching Kota's and the mothers attention.

"...Gin?? Oh my gosh Gin your here!! It's been so long! How are you???"

Kota watched as his mother, Sakana, rushed to a tall figure, the two embraced in a hug and then began chatting up a storm. He rolled his eyes. Adults were weird, especially girls.

"Wow, it has been 8...9 years? And yet, you look like you haven't aged a day-"

"Same can be said about you Sakana- "

"Heh, one of the upsides from living and visiting Toki Toki City~"

"Wait a minute," The dark figure paused and tilted her head, her ears pointed to the boy who had his chest puffed as he approached them. "Who is that?"

"Haha, well you seeee," Sakana rubbed the back of her head, and then began talking with the help of her hands," when you were sort of asleep, I kinda of-heh had a baby with Trunks and all-his name is Kota."

"What??? And you didn't tell me?!" the cat woman called Gin pouted.

"Hey, I didn't want to wake you, I know how important sleep is for you Gods, and it was out of the blue, so I didn't want to disturb you-"

"Well, I guess nothing can be done now," Gin mumbled, her eyes were focused on the boy who now stood in between Sakana and herself, "But you gotta remember to let me know when something important happens next time okay? Asleep or not! Anyways, I bet I can get one of those scrolls from the Time Nest and see it all first hand though-"

"I am not sure the Supreme Kai would like-"

"Why hello Kota, I am Gin!" The cat lady purred, smiling at the young boy. Placing her hands on her knees, she leaned down, to have a closer look at the boy. "Oh my gosh, he looks just like you Sakana! He's adorable!"

Kota looked over the stranger with an odd look, like he wasn't really believing what he was seeing. A cat? Really? His mom must have been joking. Gin was nothing like the cats he had seen before, who were fluffy, ill mannered and small. And this lady was tall, chipper, and most importantly...had no fluff. With one brow raised, he stared her dead in the eyes, his mouth frowned on one side. The brunette boys brain was ticking away as he stared at Gin.

".....that's not a cat," Kota said bluntly, there was no sign of emotion in his tone as he spoke.

"Well, of course she is Kota-don't be silly!" Sakana answered quickly with a little laugh.

"That's a rat."

There was dead silence. It was so quiet, you could hear a pin drop. And then, all at once, you could feel static build in the air, as if lighting was about to strike. Gin's eye's began to well up with tears, "Wha...what?? A rat?" she squeaked, "but but..."

"OH NO NO NOOOOO Gin, he didn't mean it- I swear-" Sakana pleaded, a sweat drop rolled down her head as she tried to calm down the God of Destruction. "He is never like this, I swear! I don't know what has gotten into him-" The two could feel the hairs on their arms stand on end from the amount of electricity Gin was putting off. Kota without regrets, just continued to stare at the girl.

"But, she does Mom, she does look like a rat."

That only made things worse.

"You...you think I'm ugly???" Gin cried, there was a croak in her voice as she spoke. Tears streamed like rivers down from her dark complexion, as she wailed. For being a God, Gin was very sensitive, especially towards those she considered friends.

"That is very rude for you to say Kota!" Sakana said frantically, feeling Gin's energy start to sky rocket dangerously, "You need to apologize!"

"Eerrrr-"

"NOW."

Kota had never seen his Mom so angry in his life, at least, not at him. Recoiling a bit, he approached the crying Gin with open arms and hugged her. She was now sitting on the ground, all curled up.

"I am sorry miss Gin," Kota apologized, his blue eyes glanced back at his mother, who was giving him a death glare, which made him apologize harder, "I am so sorry, please forgive me Miss Gin! You are not a rat, you are a very beautiful cat lady. I just have never seen a naked cat before..."

She continued to cry for some time, before her tears began to slow down. The powerful energy began to disperse, until, there was nothing left. There was only a few hiccups leftover from Gin when she finally went to rub her wet eyes. "Child...I am not naked...I am clearly clothed."

Sakana let out a sigh of relief, 'Thank goodness Gin was not Lord Beerus, or that would have been the end of Toki Toki City.'

Drew this the other day before my art block (actually had art block, had to use reference to get me started with this drawing) however, I was unable to do the other panels, so it's just these two.

The boy's name has been in the air for over a year plus, going from Jean, to Sukato, (meaning Skirt) or Kato for short (means pure). But when I was messing with Kato, I liked the sound of Kota, which is basically a pun for "coat." And then Kota also means, "Happiness/Good Fortune" so could this possibly be his final name? I really hope so Little Kota there gets kind of bratty sometimes when he meets new people, because he feels threatened by them. Otherwise, he is quite nice.
