When it comes to showing affection, Kota will do everything and anything to show the one that he loves, that he cares. Words of affirmation? Check. Acts of service? Check. Gifts? You got it.

Physical affection may not seem like a huge deal to most, but Kota is a man who very much loves his personal space and gets wildly uncomfortable when people invade it. Even with his own family, he will get completely flustered and awkwardly smile, or the even more commonplace, “tense up and freeze,” as if he’s unsure of how to respond. So, when it comes to Kota giving this kind of affection, or touching others in general, it’s a rare sight. Even though Kota’s touches tend to swing towards the soft and gentle side, as if the receiver will shatter like glass, it’s a sure sign that Kota likes you a lot to be able to push past his insecurities.

It doesn’t have to always be so “extreme,” when it comes to touching others, like hugging or even holding hands. Sometimes it’s an unconscious graze of his fingertips against theirs; that alone speaks volumes to his partner of what lies in his heart.
