So.... I decided to make a fakedex of my own since I've been having so many ideas for fakemon lately, and this is my fire starter, based on a civet
It's my favorite <3So this is sneak peak I guess. I have more designs finished, but this is the only one I've submitted so far. I don't think I'll be submitting any more fakemons on this account though.
I also submitted this, because I'm thinking of making the last evolution a character of mine as well since I love the design so much
Start: Embet
Type: Fire
Ability: Blaze
Classification: Civet Pokemon
Pokedex: Embet is a popular pet among the rich. It's droppings are used to make the finest brew of coffee.
Lv. 14 -> Cyferno
Type: Fire
Ability: Blaze
Classification: Civet Pokemon
Pokedex: Cyferno is an expert at hiding, but is usually found out by it's musky smell. It's musk is used in popular perfumes and colognes.
Lv. 36 -> Civetorch
Type: Fire
Ability: Blaze
Classification: Flame Pokemon
Pokedex: Civetorch is very quick on it's feet and can control the level of flame output on it's tail and shoulders. Beware if it suddenly turns around or does a somersault in battle!

Oh no,thank you.I also,want to ask you a question.There is a character of mine in a group,a queen who is a Torchic gijinka.And I've been wanting her to have some kind of pet for a long time now,but couldn't find one I liked until I saw this.
Could I have this fakemon as her pet?

I don't see why not. c': Which one do you want to use? Civetorch? I think I'm going to make Civetorch into a character of mine as well, so you could slightly edit it, such as the spots/eye color/etc, or add accessories or something to make it a bit different. I planned on making the markings where no two have the same exact markings. The stripes on their necks always stay the same though, as well as the lighter/darker colored fur.

Yes,but it was going to start as the first evolution then evolve.And it was going to be shiny,have you got a shiny color planned?Starter pokemon,when they are shiny,are usually just lighter or much darker,so I was hoping it could be a golden color.
And the different spots and stripes sounds wonderful~

I didn't have one planned, but here's something I threw together really quick, so excuse the sloppiness, I tried to make it where you could at least tell the colors and such. [link] I also named the other 2, and gave the 2nd and 3rd evolution little blue band markings around their legs to help balance it out some. I may or may not add it to the final designs as well, since technically these were still in concept mode haha.
Since the normal designs have a maroon tint to the brown fur, the shiny ones have an orange-ish tint to the golden fur. The fire is kind of a magenta color, the black markings are dark purple, the nose/inside of ears is blue, and where the blue in the fire was on Civetorch is almost a salmon-type color. Does this look good to you? c':

no i mean just make some animal crossbreeds/creations, because i feel like now that i've favorited your stuff, it would be copying you if i did anything like that.

I didn't invent making animal hybrids and stuff, that stuff has been around forever (like chimeras, griffins, etc). It definitely wouldn't be copying since I can't copyright something like that anyways, except for like a definite species(my only definite species are Valkodrakes, and they aren't even that original lol). But if you think up a crossbreed yourself, then go for it <:

This was colored traditionally with prismacolor pencils. I don't usually use photoshop for much of anything, when I work digitally I prefer to use paint tool SAI

It's another art program that's really easy to use, and fairly simple, not really complicated like photoshop is. It's thanks to paint took SAI that I actually started improving with digital art, since I'm not very tech savvy and it was easy for me to understand, and it's a lot of fun c:

I've never tried paint.net, so I don't know what it's like
But it's not pixelly at all, it's really smooth and the quality is good too
Here's the page wiki has on it xD [link] (software) I think the only bad thing about it is that you can't add text or enhance it like PS can, but I usually just open the file in Photoshop if I want to do anything like that xD
I like working traditionally too, most of my gallery is all traditional anyways, I've only recently started doing some more digital x3
