As she quickly headed right for the gate, one guard had shouted to her, “You’re crazy! You can’t shut an Oblivion Gate all by yourself, not with all those daedra in there! How can someone like you possibly shut it down?”

She stopped right at the gate and stared up at the monstrous hell-portal as it's fires licked across the stone pillars before she replied, "Have you heard of the Hero of Kvatch? Well, now you've just met her!" Then she had jumped in before any of them could react.

Song Influence: Pig - Seether

Whoo boy, was THIS fun! Really the only thing that frustrated me was recreating the details on the Glass Sword scabbard, but after that it was great... only took me about a week to do (mind you when I only get to work on it for a couple of hours every night, that's big for me!!). I had bought some new brush packages and I had a great time playing with them to create this piece!

I had this image in my head when I wrote this scene (and while listening to "Pig"), so I definitely wanted to create this as the scene art for the chapter! It took me some time to play with shadowing (and I still think I have a ways to go in terms of shading/shadowing), and this was my second time trying to play with flames while recreating the look that was shown in-game. I think I still need to play with my new cloud brushes, but overall I'm really pleased with how my new brushes helped me create this piece!!
