So I have an older brother that I hadn't seen in about 15 years! And I found out that he was going to come home for Christmas with about a week's notice. And I wanted to get something for him that was truly unique and truly US! And that meant I had to make him a cross stitch!! But I only had a few days and it was in the middle of finals' week so I didn't have a lot of time.So I made him a really quick Link from Link to the Past because that was one of the games I remember playing with him as a kid. I was probably only six or seven years old. Only took about three - four hours and then I put it in one of those floater frames. It looked great!!

I really have to give people like you who do cross stitching a LOT of credit!! It takes some amazing skill to do something complicated like this. It looks great!

I don't know if skill is the right word - it just takes patience. Admittedly a lot of patience. But no huge talent.
