Who's the guy in the gas mask again? I know that's Syd and the bowler hat guy is from the back of Wish You Were Here.

The gas mask guy is something random, but essentially I wanted to put someone that had an unsettling look and - in a certain way - had "no face". I've thought about a guy in a gas mask, because in a photo of the second world war some well-dressed man, who seems managers or high-profile industry employees, were wearing it and was very strange to see the effect that a suit with a gas mask does. So, in my mind, the gas guy is the symbol of the industry, together with the bowler hat guy. It has been an artistic choice to avoid repetitions of the same character (the bowler hat guy), also!
