Was just trying my hand at some still life. It's obviously not...ordinary still life, it's just my little Hello Kitty Christmas tree ornament. c:

I had a few different lights shining on the figure, so it was a little odd getting a shine in a "supposed-to-be" dark, shaded area. I wanted the colours to look a little softer than what they look like it real life. I don't really know why, but I personally think the colours on the ornament are too...bright? Opaque? I just thought it would look a lot better/cuter in lighter/pastel like colours. n__n

On a side note, I really need to invest in a scanner or something... My shading & highlights never really show up when I take photos of my work...takes away the quality...
