So, here's the thing. Some of us have these issues. Maybe they're caused by our family, maybe they're caused by our childhood, maybe they're caused by how society treats us, maybe they're caused by the chemistry of our brain. Maybe we're just weak. Maybe all of the above. But the thing is, we have them. And it's almost never our fault. And we never want them.

So some of us can't see real value in ourselves. Whether it's smaller or bigger, it's always there and we still fail to see it. Maybe some of us are too used to being looked down on. Maybe some of us have grown up being told we're useless. And maybe some of us, believe it. So some of us, need to be reminded that. Some of us need that to be pointed out to us. And some of us actually believe the people that point it out. And we see it. We never see anything too shiny and bright. We never see gold. We just don't see coal because we're not ready to quit. And maybe some of us need to be reminded from time to time. And maybe some of us need to remind ourselves. Because we're the only ones we can remotely trust. Or because if we repeat it to ourselves, we'll eventually make it reality. And maybe some of us have no one else to tell us.

Recognising one's self value doesn't make them an egocentric prick. It doesn't mean they look down on other people. And recognising other people's value doesn't make anyone lesser or cancels their own value. This is the internet. On the other end of the connection, there could be a hairy dude that impersonates a young girl. Or there could be a bored asshole who decided to troll you cause they had nothing better to do with their afternoon. Or there could be one of us. You don't have to like, or love us. But you don't need to hate us either.

Some of you may find this sappy. Some of you may find it emo. Some of you might relate to it. Whatever the case, thank you for reading.
