Description I feel the need to upload when my page goes quiet. This is a 'work in progress' i'm doing amongst

other drawings. It's been some time since i did some digital art so while i had some time off work i thought

get started on this.I sketched it a few months ago and decided that 'digital' was the only way to go with it.

I'll try and finish it on the weekend, hopefully with a more detailed background.Β

I really like seeing your digitial work. Your traditional is great too, but its just nice to see you switch back and forth sometimes. Very talented in both area.

I'm done spamming your gallery now.

I know what you mean. Digital art is very time consuming. I've made a promise to myself that I would try to upload a piece every week to increase my speed. I uploaded one the Friday before last and then started a new one. This Friday will mark 2 weeks and I'm nearly done. Gotta hurry Β

Do 3000 pencil sketches, that was a great help for me,haha.
My digital art always starts with a traditional sketch scanned in,I can't get used
to drawing from scratch on a tablet.
Stick with it dude,i hate to see people lose faith or interest in their art.

3000? Good lord!

Mine start with a traditional sketch as well. I used to scanned them in around 2007-2010, but know that technology has improved I just take a picture with my phone and its pretty much the same.

The only thing I don't like about transferring traditional to digital is making the line art because its like drawing the entire picture all over again.

For me a sketch and line art takes about an hour, digitally it takes about 4 or 5 hours.

For me Sketch = 1 1/2 - 2 hours

Digital 5-6 Hours.

I'm a bit of a perfectionist.

Fantastic so far! I love how you can get creative and put your characters in so many different unpredictable situations. It makes things so much more interesting than sticking to a usual script.

Liking the details here, they're coming together nicely. Keep it up!

Thank you Sir,glad i can keep you entertained.

Was gonna colour with markers at first but then i thought i'd only

be able to experiment with drawing underwater effects digitally.

My marker skills can only so far.

I think it's an interesting approach.Β  You seem to be able to balance both mediums quite well enough these days.

Diving wearing only a speedo... I love it!

This is going to look great when complete.

I don't usually draw speedos because i'm not one for draw 'buldges' like this.

There doesn't have to be a bulge. When I draw characters in speedos, I leave that area flat.

I suppose. But since there should be some sort of bulge,I drew it.I prefer the creases

of clothing like in all my other drawings. My new comic, which also features 'Patches' in his speedos...atΒ the beach of course, I still feel he is over exposed and I may change them to shorts. That would mean adjusting 25 pages of comic though!
