Issue 17, part 2Starring Heather and Travis
And here's a part 2! Part 1 is back here [link]
Heather confronts Travis about unrealistic expectations, then lays down some house rules. Everything seems to be out in the open, but then the plot (ahem) thickens! Something tells me Heather's going to less than satisfied with the results of her plan. Travis, you sly dog.
The end? Not completely, but it is the end of the arc with these two. Consider them to be in a stable, more open relationship now. Heather will put on more weight, yes, but Travis will help her level out somewhere reasonable. I don't plan to make her immobile or anything, just.... big. Not every WGI Girl can be a Molly. We'll see these two around, but I hope that 7 pages of giant Heather in short shorts has satisfied your big brunette cravings for a while. If not, draw her yourself!

Ever since I joined your group on yahoo, I was wondering if this story was going to have happy ending. Now I can sleep in ease only now I have to worry about the floating head of Harry Carey trying to steal my minI Bar At night. I have to say your progress in drawing has been amazing! Your Character are more detailed and I can see you been trying to draw in a different angle which the reward did pay off! Keep it Up. And make sure you hang some squrills stuffed with corndogs so that Harry Carey doesn't steal your Mini Bar Too

The way you draw your main characters shows that you have understand what she looks like at all angles, making some convincing consistency on this page.

idk why, but 4-1 is my favorite shot of this issue. Good face, good curves, good eyebrow.
5-2 really seems to stand out for some reason. Was it inked?
Love how 7-2 ties everything together from WGIU 7. Good closure.

It's a real concern of mine. I make no claims that this is a realistic comic overall, it's function is essentially fanservice, but as a sort of aspiring comic artist I like to try and add doses of realism to certain parts of the story. Many of these storylines/characters were started years ago, so it's fun/funny trying to redeem some of my wilder ideas now that I'm older and wiser :-D
That being said, most of the other storylines are going to just get ridiculous soon.

I've got to say, this section of the comic had excellent drawing, beyond the first one. Maybe because this one has more Heather.

What's so awesome about part two is that we get to enjoy plenty of scenes of full figured shots of Heather!
First off, Travis is a sly dog? You mean that thing he said in the last panel?...Eh, should I ask what it was he had in mind?
I'm glad that you don't intend to make Heather immobile and that she herself wants a limit (albeit she'll probably exceed it). You can't really go any where with a character who's immobile, so I'm glad we still may see her from time to time.
435 lbs.? Gee, I wonder if Travis is thinking the same thing I am in that she looks heavier than that. Also, you gotta love that the woman is prepared having a list of conditions; it also shows that she was on the verge of taking him back if he gave her the right answers.
I was just as surprised, too, that Heather can cook. And Travis's comment plus Heather's denial was absolutely great!
My favorite scenes for part II, panel 5-1 because she has this defiant look, panel 6-1 might be the cutest pic of Heather of all time and I wouldn't mind seeing it in color, and panel 7-1 because that guilty expression is priceless.
Once again, great job. You deserve a breather.

Fact: 6-1 has been drawn for like, two months. It was the first thing I drew when I was planning this strip, I just needed a good representation of Heather ather new size, and I worked it into the comic.
I also think Travis is a sly dog based on 7-2. And as unrealistic as it is, he still gets exactly what he wants. And referring to your comment for part 1, no matter how nice you should always be wary of boys

You wrapped it up quite nicely. I love this whole series, btw. My favorite issues were the last three, especially the panel where there Travis is looking at his wallet and he and Heather are seated on the couch.
You did a great job, I wish I could tell you what you could have done better, but I don't know what to say.

Oh my god...Kast, you are a genius!! Your best work yet. Heather is totally sexy at this weight...and unlike some people, I don't want to see her immobile AT ALL. Your capacity for drawing realistic cartoony hotties is downright UNCANNY. The fact that she has been cooking for herself is SO HOT. And when she MMMMMs over the prospect of PIE coming out of the oven after her ultimatum...wow. Brilliant stuff. Her poses and body shape are sexy as HELL too. A perfect ending. Many of us have been waiting for Heather and Travis to reappear--and you have provided us all with the literally PERFECT conclusion. I love it, love it, love it! She reminds me of my own BBW wife. You are the master of BBW WG comics. Clever, sexy and just what we all ordered. Awesome!

Not everyone can be as big as Molly? It looks like Heather is pretty close to Molly's size already, even before her "Let's just stay home and pig out" ultimatum that she gave to Travis.
Even if she's never gets THAT big, can we assume that Danielle's new super-shakes will blimp her up to far beyond any other girl's size(and possibly her curious roommate)?
Anyway, awesome stuff as usual.

Molly more or less has a "let's how how fat I can possibly get" stance, with her rocket scientist husband fully supporting her. Heather on the other hand has a greater appreciation for fitting through doors and not crushing her boyfriend to death. I suppose the difference is just academic at this point

I can apprecaite the difference in Heather and Molly's respective mindsets, but it seems like they are both gaining(with Molly gaining much more deliberately).
If I may, I was kinda hoping that Danielle would be your new largest girl after her next appearance. It could be that the hormone shake makes her strong enough to carry her otherwise-immobilizing weight. It could also be that she recieves a huge settlement for the massive weight gain she was subhected to.
But write whatever you want, because I've liked it all so far.

Well, glad to see those two worked it all out... But Travis is a lucky man, if I do say so myself...
And in my opinion, I think Heather did contribute to her weight on purpose...
BTW, I like Travis' expression in panel 3... like he thinks she weighs much more than that... lol
