Yeah, I was a little iffy about her until I found out she wasn't a love interest, then felt more happy about her
And I knoww. I'd love that, but they probably would have announced them by now if they were in it, which is unfortunate =/ I would've liked to see the Xingese characters too, but it looks like they won't be in it either

It all depends on when and where the story takes place in regards to the manga/brotherhood story line. (Continuity issues and such) But I agree, seeing Ling or Lan Fan would have been awesome. :

The sucky thing is though that the movie takes place during most of the second season of brotherhood, where Ling and Lan Fan are in fact a part of the story line, so they could have been in it, but aren't

Really? Seriously? Then the Homunculi should have definitely been in the film, or at least mentioned. The second season did, after all, focus on Lust's death and some of Envy's background, as well as Gluttony and Wrath.

Adorable picture and amazing job on it!
But...there is just...one...tiny...little thing that is bugging the heck out of me....
Either Roy got a growth spurt or Riza shrunk....
I LOVE the picture, but Roy looks a good 9"-12" taller than Riza.
Roy is on the shorter side and Riza is just a little shorter than him.(Roy is 5'8'', Riza's probably 5'6'')
It's a beautiful picture and I'm pretty jealous of your outlining skills(can never get a good soft outline on coloured pictures!) I just pay close attention to details like that. Especially when it comes to my obssesion of Royai. XD

And actually, Riza is quite shorter than Roy. In the first anime (and the height chart that was released with it) their height was incorrect. A picture that the author drew of them in a filler space in the manga comes right to mind when I think of the bigger height difference between them, and that's this one: [link]

I'm looking at a pic in the the manga....
There really ins't that much of a height difference. (Looking in book 23, page 147, Riza is right behind Roy, pointing a gun to his head. Unless the ground is not level or Riza is wearing high hells.

Yeah, shots like that can be tricky because the way it's drawn might distort proportion and what not. The image I showed you in my previous comment is good because it shows them right back to back standing up straight. I'd say Riza's about 5'5", because Winry's about 5'1" or 5'2", and Riza's only a little taller than her (they stand facing each other when they see each other in Central for the second time) I'd say Roy is about 5'11".

Are you sure that one pic you showed me was by Hiromu? (It did look like, so I'm not doubting it is,)
But do you have the FMA profiles book? Because one of the very first pages shows, Ed, Al, Roy, Riza, and Armstrong side by side. Roy and Riza only are a few inches short of each other.

You said this was the original series height chart? Because Roy and Riza aren't much taller/shorter than that in the brother hood OR the manga.
And if you have the book, book 4, page 158, top panel show Roy and Riza standing next to each other, right next to each other.

Yeah it definetely is done by her. It's in volume 27. And I don't really give that height chart much credibility cause it's from the first anime and I don't give the first anime much credibility. Also I don't count brotherhood either cause brotherhood is very inconsistent about character designs. The thing about height in FMA is there is no "official" height difference. Character's height fluctuate as the manga keeps going, but I definitely believe there is more than a two inch height difference between Roy and Riza. From that picture in volume four I'd at least say that picture alone is 4 or 5 inches. Again, though, that picture isn't a straight front view, it's at a slight angle, which again may trick the eye.

I can see there being a 3-5 " difference between them. But if Riza is 5'5''... I just have a hard time picutring her just a little taller than myself.(I'm 5'4")
The manga is all art and it's hard to keep a consistant height throughout the whole thing between the characters.
It is a slight angle. However that picture you showed me which is I guess in the manga(Have not seen that one yet!), so it may also not be the right. I'm guessing any way Hiromu Arakawa draws them is the right way.The FMA profile book (which is again obviously by Hiromu,) shows probably a few inches difference between Roy and Riza, but she doesn't look too short.
So I guess I can see Riza being 5'5" if Roy is 5'8". :3 And Roy IS short compaired to other people. Havoc, Falman, Hughes, The Fuhrer, Raven, and obviously Armstrong, but everyone is short compaired to him.

Wait, but that picture is by Hiromu Arakawa thatI showed you from the manga, so wouldn't that be right,then, if you say whatever she draws is right? And I have a hard time believing Roy would be 5'8", cause that's my friend's height who is pretty averge height looking that's a girl. Averge guy height is around 5'10" - ish. Riza's definetely pretty short though. If you look at the grave scene there is a straight on shot of a side view of her next to Roy, and she's pretty short (I'm in school right now so I don't have the specific page) and you also have to consider the fact that she's wearing heels.

However if that picture is right, so were the ones in the manga, the height chart, and the picture in profiles.
What I'm getting at is neither of us is wrong. Because Hiromu drew ALL of those pictures. Getting what I'm trying to say yet? The pictures I've seen of them standing together in the books show a little height difference.
That picture you showed, isn't really part of the story if I understand, it's just a picture in the back of 27.
She could have drawn it that way so she wouldn't have to cover part of Mustang's face.

With regards to the profile book picture, I'd say that alone is 4 or 5 inches, and he's stepping slightly behind her, so I'd add another inch. I mean, in thee manga, there are rarely shots of them right next to each other head on, because that's be boring to look at and more uninteresting artistic wise. But if you even look at volume 25, when Riza is held by Roy right against him after her throat gets slit, there's a pretty significant height difference. With her slumping, I'd only add another inch to her from what she's shown to have in the picture. The height chart, however, was not done by the author. It was done by BONES. Which as I said before is why I don't give it any credibility.

Well, what I have said abour Roy and Riza I have observed as well.
If Roy was 5'11" as you had said before, then almost everyone else(not counting Riza, Ed, Winry, other youngsters) would have to be over 6". Falman is taller than Roy. General Raven is taller than Falman.
If you can find one source that shows/says Roy is 5'11", or taller than 5'8", then I would like to see it.

I wouldn't doubt if those others were at least 6'; they're pretty tall. And I never said he was exactly 5'11", I said he was about that. All I know is Roy and Riza definetely have a good solid 5 inches between them at least. The averge height for a guy is about 5'10", so Roy probably falls around there somewhere. And I've given you pleanty of examples showing their significant height differece.

We've given you evidence for why his height would be higher than 5'8". You don't seem to understand the evidence, and the fact that there is no official height, so it's all educated guess and careful observation. Your height doesn't make sense if compared to all the evidence we've given you.

Just putting a say on this. (I don't mean to interfere lol)
There is definitely at least a five or six inch height difference between Roy and Riza. That picture from volume 27 is evidence enough. (Yes, it was drawn by the author, and she didn't change the height so you could see their faces. If she wanted to do that, then she would have angled it differently)
So if Roy isn't around 5'10" or 5'11", if he is 5'8" or shorter, then that would make Riza around 5'2" or 5'3". And I mean, we know for a fact that Ed is at least 4'11", it was confirmed by the author (lol shrimp). And by the looks of it, I'd say that Ed and Riza have a 5 or 6 inch height difference.

So if we know that Ed is 4'11" and if we know that Riza and him have about a six inch height difference, that would make Riza about 5'5". I mean, like Egyptian-Sands said earlier, She isn't much taller than Winry, whose probably about 5'2" or 5'3".
So, we can kind of confirm Riza's height. And if Roy is about 5 or 6 inches taller than her, then that makes his height around 5'10" or 5'11".
And to say something about Havoc, Falman and all of those guys: They're all pretty big guys. Especially Raven. I wouldn't doubt it if they were giants lol I mean, my older sister has a boyfriend whose 6'7". I'd say Havoc and Falman are around 6'2" or 6'3". I have a lot of guy friends who are around that height. So it isn't impossible. It's pretty common for guys to be around that height
So, just putting in my two cents. I hope it was helpful
