This is my entry for the contest being held by
I'm very happy with this, once again featuring Parafin. This is a picture of his past, his soul. He lost his only son to disease, and now still lives with the loss. He is holding his lifeless son in his arms. Please comment, let me know what you think ^.^

I'd just like to say that i am a HUGE HUGE HUGE Dinosaur Freak, and the Parasaurolophus has been a favorite of mine ever since i knew what a dinosaur was.
I love the misty effect you gave it, and the colors are wonderful!!! The chains are great as well. The whole atmosphere of the picture is magnificant!!! it is quite sad (as everyone else said) i feel sorry for the poor guy. I love the use of the metaphor between the chains and the poem. Great contrast!! Wonderful job!!!

Wow, that's so eerily stunning, poor Parafin Bandages and chains are almost an overused metaphor but the way you've implemented them, particularly the bandages on the face, is just so emotive. The colours, the mood, the composition, everything just comes together and makes my heart sink every time I look at it.
Beautiful rendering work, too, particularly the suggested reflection on the chains and manacles. The cloud filter is a little too noticeable/uniform for my tastes, but it's a great overall picture, good luck in the contest, you've got a really powerful entry. ^_^

Although this isn't my type of arkwork, I find this piece exceptionally interesting as it seems to have alot of expression. Bound, sadness and love even if it's just a cartoon type character.
