I finallyfinallyFINALLY finished my updated ref sheet for Jaaay! So I'm pretty happy, as you can guess. Hopefully her markings are clear and all that. C:
Jaynalu is no longer part-wolf. Why? I didn't think it fit her. |D She's got more of a foxish build and size, with AFD ears and legs. Her tail is a MOOTASHUN, so it's floofyploded, and she turns her ears back because she just does and because it's a weird habit of hers.

Hmmm...critique...
Well, the eyes are far too square like. Eyes aren't square, they're round. ~zii made some picture about that a while back......
Also, the head is misformed, the head should be a diamond like shape. How you've drawn it now, the entire skull is taken up by eyes and there's no room for a brain or any other such thing.
Canines are the fifth smartest animal, you know, they need their brain room
The body is too short for a fox, at least from what I've seen. The legs are also too thin in spots.
You should study some real fox pictures, that'll help a lot.

SWEET. Another jay-based character! Mine started out that way, but then she sort of strayed. I'd say her markings were inspired by a jay, but I didn't like the idea of her being "half this and half that."
ANYWAY. I like Jay's markings, they're certainly distinguishable! :3

Wow, fo'shizzo? That is an interesting coincidence. Sorry to assume anything, I was just all gitty about more jay-lookin' critters. I made Quaylak half and half 'cause I looooove blue jays. Then yeah, that idea just seemed ghey to me. She has jay-traits, but no more half and half. I still love jays though and jay-hybrids. >>;
I see now how you got the name "Jay" from "Ja(y)ne." xD That makes sense. I'm a big fan of blue, so I was naturally drawn to Jay's colors/markings. Anywut, you're very welcome for the comment! Keep up the good work. :3

But, ah, the stripes on the side view seem to be pointing towards her front, and then the above view shows the stripes pointing towards her tail. it might just be a trick of the angle though, so maybe it's alright.
