James’ last moments.. I listened to the Across The Universe version of ‘Let It Be’ over and over again drawing/colouring this (hence the title) which some of you will note as odd for me because I dont like The Beatles and I'm not particularly religious. I kinda felt like it fit though, in the peaceful moment where you realise theres nothing you can do to change your fate and you just have to let it go.Not sure if this is finished yet, I think I’ve been looking at it for too long. This was my rebellion against my fractured finger. I hate having to admit I cant do something because of something like a freaking broken finger

Beautiful work of a terrifying scene. What a mixed range of emotions I see here--anger, sorrow, disbelief. What makes it more chilling are the warm, homey touches in the house (the cheery colors in the back room, the toy truck, the group photo) contrasted with the reflection in James' glasses of the very last thing he saw before he died.

Aww... this is so ... you know. I love James' face - he's so 70s looking here (and the picture in the back is made of win!). Also, am I allowed to blame the Beatles for James looking eerily like John Lennon here? I'm seeing it.

This is great! It's awesome because you actually made James look like a man back then should. People often forget/ignore that people didn't dress the same back then.
I love how the whole gang is in the portrait behind him. Which reminds me, I'm hankering for a DT fix. Do you have it hosted anywhere online in PDF form or something? I'd love to reread it-- DT was what got me into fanfiction.

For some reason I felt it important that there be a group photo of the gang in sight of this horrible thing happening, like they can look over him and look after him in a way.
Unfortunately it's not anywhere in full on the net atm, I'm so busy atm Im making myself sick with not enough sleep and no day off. So Im afraid I cant tell you when it will be up, but i am trying very hard to find the time at some point!

I understand completely, I was just curious if there was any way to get it. I probably shouldn't take the time to read anything right now anyways, as I'm behind in my trig class.
Try to take care of yourself! Drink fluids, get more sleep, take vitamin C, etc. Imagine how miserable you'll be if you're busy AND you have a cold or the flu.

I love that drawing of yours it captures James perfectly. Also the title of the bit of art work really reminds me of the beatles "Let it be" is one of my favorite songs

This is a great piece. I find your use of colours to be fantastic. I also like how you off centred the subject of the piece yet still creating a strong focal point with his glasses. You surely showed your fractured finger the door.
