Description
A poor photo of a Self Portrait done for Uni. Based on and inspired by ~ka00te ’s ‘Harder Pressed’: [link] and certainly not pulled off as well.And yes, that is my hair colour.
EDIT: Um... oh my gosh... I am SO SHOCKED that this got a DD! I never thought my work was good enough for one! Um, well wow! Thankyou SO MUCH I'm honoured and shocked and... Thankyou, really, from the bottom of my heart.

This is pretty dang amazing. Probably the best self portrait I've seen yet.
I just searched up self portraits on dA because I wanted to look at others', and this one stood out to me so I clicked on it.
Yes, very original at the concept of a face pressed agains glass, and depicted very well here...along with the colors and clothes, not to mention facial expression, it makes for a very successful composition, not to mention a personality statement!

don't you hate it when people comment on your hair (mine is magenta) and they dont like it, well i am an artist and i am legally entitled to do whatever the hell i want with my body or my hair for that matter

Funny you should say that, mine is magenta with an aqua streak atm 
Lots of people think I'm wearing a wig (or at the least, extentions) when they meet me.. I guess the combination of a weird colour and abnormally long (past my hips) is a bit too weird for people to think its my real hair.

I was wondering if I could use your self-portrait to teach kindergarteners what a self-portrait is, and how it can be something silly, not just a bland front view of a face. I think that the concept of being pressed against glass is something that they will love!
