Got to draw my first ever pic of Deadpool this weekend @ MCM .. he's a weird character... came out OK though so I added some cheeky photoshop tweaking and stuck him up here in case there are any DP fans out there!

woo! hehe. great design. He is maybe my fave 4th wall destroying jackass around(next to pinkie pie of course). I enjoyed that terrible wolverine movie ;-P hehe. But he wasnt used 100%, they could have done so much more with him other than mute robot.

I know very little of him myself.. other than he's a mercenary I think... he's called the Merc with a Mouth cos he never shuts up wise-cracking and generally talking rubbish!

Such an awesome character design, though I can't help but think they've gone "let's take spiderman, give him a workout, and paint him red" XD

Thing is, since in everything Deadpool appears in he's fully aware that he is a fictional character, I can't help but wonder what you did to make him so angry at you...

Cheers.. although I really probably haven't done him justice... - I think the way I drew him was more my reaction at having to draw a character I don't know than anything.. - he's more of a wise-cracker than an emo, really, isn't he?

I'd say it's more of asinine babbling and insane ranting that wise-cracking, though.
But I must confess, I'm probably not the best to ask. My knowledge of most comics these days is fairly slender.

hehe... I'd be interested to read some at some point... I used to read a fair amount of batman, superman, spiderman and even a couple of Xmen stories when I was a teen, but haven't read anything cape-related (except for 45 by comX) since.

I don't "follow" any DC, really... although I do often check out some of the more standalone Batman books. But with Marvel, I followed Spidey fairly devotedly up until very recently... I hate to lay that on Brand New Day, because I honestly think that while unnecessary it was well executed... but I think some of the magic has faded, sadly. X-Men I fell out of love with quite awhile ago, and I never really got into most of the othe 'names'... except for a bit o' Hulk.
