just because of my own curiosity for characters in masks im wondering deeply about the second image behind her (don't know her name so she is just 'her')
although im guessing firstly its simply a darker part of herself she denies. based on how she is wistfully looking away from it and up more toward the locket. something we know based on the title to be broken.

The empty locket seems to be much deeper than the last two images. The locket usually represents a
family heirloom or some personal ties to family. Kate as a spirit fox is a trickster by nature and has no association with
anyone else. Like a spirit that's disembodied, yet manifested to a form closely identical to her character. This visual image
is more riddled with a sense of mystery hence the kitsune mask in the background. Overall these series are very interesting.
