Like I said before, he would have come back for her!AU where Padmé is alive and has joined the Rebel Alliance. Of course, Anakin doesn't know this till a certain day, he discovers the truth.
Complete sketches. Oh, almost forgot. Used CDX7 for cleaning and IrfanView for color correction. In reality my pencils result too faded when scaning so I edited with digital tools.

I would more than love to see an officially done AU like what happened in Infinities. For those of you who don't know, Star wars infinities are these alternate tellings of the first 3 movies. The A new hope one is where Luke misses, most of the rebellion dies, the Death star gets renamed the justice star and it ends more or less the same way that ROTJ does and I won't spoil more than that. The empire strikes back one is about LEIA training with Yoda since Luke died on Hoth after the Wampa attack, then Vader fights Yoda and they both die or something (I watched a video with scans of the comic and I can't tell if they were incomplete or not because the story jumped all over the place). The final one is where there is a more proactive approach to Jabba's palace, Han is blinded, both Luke and Leia are caught, the ewoks join the frey but they aren't technically allies with the rebels, the Emperor escapes and Vader joins the rebellion. Obviously, these are pretty out there but they are still enjoyable. Doing something like the AUs in the DC comics like Injustice or something would bring a smile to my face. I kind of want to see what would happen if Anakin was able to raise his kids and if you take one look at some of the art I do for Star wars, you can see a lot of that.

I like the idea of Vader joining the rebellion with Luke and Leia. It would've been really sweet if Luke and Leia were able to spend time their father. I like the idea of Leia training but wouldn't want Luke to die. It would be a cool AU if they were both trained as Jedi. I'd watch a show called something like Jedi Twins that's just about Luke and Leia's misadventures as Jedi, even if it's an AU.
I also like the idea of Leia joining the Dark Side, like if Vader had trained her like he wanted to or she faces Vader and instead of saving him like Luke did, she becomes consumed with anger and hate and kills him, taking his place as Sidious' apprentice because I think if either of the twins were to join the Dark Side, it would be Leia because she's the most like Anakin. I actually had this AU idea where Vader finds out his child is alive but he still doesn't know that he has twins and he thought Padme was pregnant was a girl (there's a scene in the RoftheS book where Anakin thinks it's a girl and Padme thinks it's a boy) and finds Leia and raises her. She grows up to be as powerful and terrifying as her father and one day she goes to Tattooine (probably led the attack that killed Luke's uncle and aunt) and meets Luke, finding out he's her brother and captures and takes him home to their father. I just always felt that Leia didn't get enough attention and have the fact that's she's Anakin's/Vader's daughter explored enough.

I know those comics, well... they aren't that great in art or storytelling but there are parts that are worthty. I read the one of ROTJ, the final scene when Leia and Luke confront Vader was highly emotional imo. Especially Luke asking Vader to just finish them 'cause he's just tired, poor...

I think those comics were supposed to be kind of outlandish and a bit silly. Then again, Star wars itself is kind of silly. It's about space wizards and a guy with bigfoot as his co-pilot. Then again, isn't everything we like kind of silly when you get down to it.

Mmmm I don't think that's what SW is really about. It's simple yet deep.
I have no idea if that was the intention with those comics, still they are enjoyable.
I just didn't like much the art and some parts of the storyline, could've been better.
