Description Since the CC project failed, I felt obliged to take part in the Pay It Forward project hosted by =BrokenHoofbeats [link] to honor !Z1ven somehow. I got to draw one of *KwehCat 's characters - originally I opted for Kael, but in last moment changed it and picked Nzi. So here she is Since we were instructed to dedicate the whole thing to Ziven somehow, I came up with the idea of Kopano's ghost in the distance. The music I used for inspiration is this: [link]

Znowu podziwiam za tę lekkość grzywy i ogona Mam wrażenie, że proporcje są idealne! Widzę, że tło też nie jest dla Ciebie problemem. Powiem krótko - świetna robota!

Jedynie co mi przeszkadza, to "ucięte drzewo". Według mnie powinnaś go dać trochę więcej. ( Nie mówię, oczywiście o wejściu całego drzewa, bo to banalnie wygląda, strasznie portretowo. ) Bo jeśli widać go tylko ze 2 mm to tak jakby go w ogóle nie było. Trochę nie zauważalny jest ten pień. Jakby było by go troszeczkę więcej, to od razu czuć, że jest tam drzewo... Jeju, dziwnie to opisałam

PS. Napisane jest "Nzi" a ja czytam "Nazi"... chyba się muszę cofnąć do podstawówki, bo mam problemy z czytaniem

Dziękuję ^^ Kudełki rysuje mi się coraz przyjemniej, tak naprawdę najgorsze jest ustalenie proporcji i lineart, reszta to pełen relaks

Wiadomo mniej więcej o co chodzi Może faktycznie za bardzo wklęsły, czy też wykrzywiony w stronę brzegu, jest ten pień Postaram się zapamiętać na przyszłość

Zdarza się Ja dotąd nie wiem jak to właściwie wymówić

Beautiful!! I really, really love your artwork, and feel horrible for not commenting nearly enough on your outstanding pieces!! I really love this! Kopano's ghost in the background really adds to it. This is beautiful, and what a gorgeous character. I love how you've done the gradient on the mane from dark to light blue, and your shading is lovely. I also like how you've done the water. And adding the faded horse in the distance adds a nice touch and conveys your message well. Great job.

w kwestii technicznej bardzo ale to bardzo podoba mi się jak pocieniowałaś granatowe części ciała Nzi, wyglądają zajedwabiście... tzn wyglądają jak piękny jedwab Do tego włosy wyglądają również świetnie, bardzo zwiewnie i delikatnie... piękne

Dziękuję Dużo to dla mnie znaczy, zwłaszcza od Ciebie, bo od początku nie byłam pewna czy te granaty na Nzi nie wyglądają zbyt 'płasko', w porównaniu do tego co tworzyłam do tej pory Ale z kudełków sama jestem w miarę zadowolona ^^

ohś, ja również nadal mam wiele wiele do nauki... Ogólnie mówiąc to wydaje mi się, że takie cienie to duży krok w stronę realizmu, więc jeżeli chciałabyś troszkę urealistycznić swój styl, to idź dalej w tę stronę... a jeżeli nie, to nigdy więcej czegoś takiego

Wow, this is breathtaking. I absoultely love the emotion in this piece. The background and the horses are gorgeous, and I love the manes and tails. I really wish I had gotten to meet Ziven!

I wasn't extra close with him, but certainly he had a very intriguing personality, with not being afraid to tell out loud what he thinks and being so dedicated to the community he was in.

The concept really is beautiful. I love how the horse in the background really is faded like a spirit. <3

Thank you very much! It took some time to make the spirit horse look right, but I'm glad it turned out okay in the end

Aha, I'm quite content of the manes too :3 Your comment kind of uplifted me now, because I can't help but have an impression that Nzi looks more 'flat' than horses in my other recent pieces ._.

Everything is just amazing here! The sand actually looks wet, and I love how it gathers around his hooves! Although, the rippling parts of the water look a bit too solid, almost icy. Maybe taking a fuzzy eraser on a low opacity? Just a thought!

The sand and shore was one of the most relaxing parts for me And about the water, now that you mentioned it, you're right It's the first time I used this technique, so after all I'm not surprised it's imperfect

I need to practice drawing backgrounds, because mine need some serious work. But that sand and shore do look like they'll relax ya. *dreaming*
I learned the water technique from a tutorial, but I'm learning new ways to do water all the time.

I'm so very glad you like it! Your character was quite fun to paint, I don't get much chance to draw a horse with an unusual color and all those marks, so it was a pretty useful lesson for me You're most welcome!
