i really need to think of a better title
Last night I was just doodling for fun, and sketched this Merdude. Suddenly, a couple hours past and this was on my canvas. I'm so proud of it. I think it might be my best piece ever. I've been struggling to come up with good ideas, and then this just came out of no where! Looks like the best things aren't planned at all. I had so much fun drawing him, and ended up losing track of time!
And of course, the fact that he's a merman makes things so much better.
This really makes me wanna draw more merpeople.

Wow, to say nothing of the merman, the background is spectacular. How did you do those ocean ripples? The effects on the rock? The sky looks like watercolor. And the merman, he's adorable!

Thank you so much! I'm pretty stunned by the background myself! Lol! I'm usually not that great at them, so looking at this is just so wonderful to my eyes haha! (I sound so cocky omgsh!) But yeah I think this was just an experiment that turned out really well! I kinda just adjusted brush settings, and layer settings to get the looks I desired. <3 And I wanna draw more of him. I think he turned out really cute! :]
