Description At Further Confusion 2010 I hosted a panel on coloring with markers, which went well! I handed out some info on markers, and promised I'd upload it here for people to access online.

This is a list of useful marker color sets for many different colors. I use Prismacolor markers, so these color names correspond with that brand.

Are these the only ones you use?

Interesting stuff. Do you have a sheet of some kind that shows what the colours look like in comparison to another?

I do not, it would take a long time to do so. However, I'm about to upload a list of comparable colors in the Copic brand that a fellow DA member put together!

I don't know if I'll ever get the gumption enough to do it, but these make for very handy tips. I'd love to try my hand at it, someday. TY!

I appreciate this! Unfortunately I mainly use Copics, so I thought I'd figure out the Copic equivalents. I've made a list of them based on hue, saturation and tone (in that order). The values are taken from the colour charts on Prismacolor's and Copic's websites. The accuracy of my list depends on the accuracy of those colour charts, so there may be some variation.

Nice, this is useful! Would you mind if I uploaded this to my DA (with credit) as a copic equivalent set, or shall I just link it in my description here? This would surely help people who want to use copics instead.

Of course you can upload it to your DA! Just thought I'd save people the time being I was interested in figuring it out for myself anyway.

Thanks for sharing your list. I'd like to compare this with what I have and see if there are any useful fur colors I am missing
