Description
Lines. Everywhere.Pretty pleased with this one. Exapnded the style that I used on Tendrils ([link] . Could have coloured it, but I like the look of black ink on a white background. It has its own elegance. It's also binary, if that makes any sense; it's either there or it isn't, no shades of grey. Need to get better pens though. Been using gel pens from the dollar store, and the ink erases a bit when I remove the pencil lines. Any recommendations for brands of fine liners/technical pens? Decent quality, but more importantly a low price (anything would be better quality than what I use now).

This is beautiful and very intricate. Its a bit on the busy side, a few less lines mingled in might be more elegant. But overall very nice!

Yes, I measure out a grid with a ruler, to provide a guide for the lines. usually use an approximately 0.5 cm grid.

Amazing! You have such a steady hand a smooth lines, and the intricacies are just fantastic.
Keep up the hard work, it looks fantastic.
Technical pens? Hm. I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but I really like them for my inking.

Yeah, it is. I've used Microns before, but I forgot about them until I saw a forum thread on ink and pens. I wasn't too fond of them, but I think the set I used was older than me.

Wow, you really have a steady hand!
When it comes to pens, you can ask in an art store. They will recommend you a good technical pen that you can afford

Hi
I'm from !
As I first saw this piece it reminded me of some gothic crosses I've seen in Irish cementeries, but now that I look at it better I am amazed to discover that it isnt'.
It's far more complicated!
All those lines that cross each other, the perfect simmetry, the greatness of your composition...
I can't help but fave this piece!
I admire your work

That looks so, SO very complicated. Rather you than me, because I won't have the patience.

I have the patience for this kind of work, but not for other things. Ex, pointillism. Can't stand pointillism.

I don't always. On my simple pieces I can, but on my complex pieces I usually make a mistake, especially when I'm trying something new. I edit out the mistakes on the computer. On this one I made a few mistakes on where I split the threads near the centre, because I never tried doing that before. Other than the mistakes, I find a systematic way of doing the overs and unders.
