I made these as a Christmas gift for my brother, who started me on the books,

The bookmarks are large, about 3"X 9" using 18 colours

The pattern called for 18ct, but I used 14ct because I wanted to use some of the coloured fabric I had hiding in my stash. I also wanted them to tie together in the three colours so I didn't do the "fields" and therefore some of them are not accurate to the descriptions in the books. i.e. Martell should be on and orange background, but I kept it black.

I started these last November hoping to have them done for Christmas, but then I realized exactly how large they were and made them my backup piece to be giving away next Christmas.
