We adopted this small kitten and named her Jenny. She was a feral kitten but is so sweet and boneless when you hold her. lol We love her.Related content

My babies were feral kittens and with proper care they tamed right down and have lived long lives. All the best to Jenny.

No, she had terrible fleas when we got her and she was too young to treat so we bathed her in a strong solution of tea. I didnt know what else to use and no one seemed to know so thats what we did.

In America in houses with flea problems, they brush diatomic soil into carpets and upholstery. When the fleas jump off the cat and land on the carpet, the diatoms cut the fleas surface and they die.
Also you can buy fine-tooth combs, put the cat on a metal or tile surface, and comb out the fleas. When they jump onto the surface you can see them and crush them with your fingernail. A dry bathtub is a good place because the fleas are easy to catch. This method is troublesome, but uses no chemicals.

I have never heard of that way of getting rid of fleas. I hate using pesticides too. I dont think my cats would sit long enough for a good combing. lol AS for the tea bath, it worked ok. I dont know if the fleas drowned or if the tea did them in.
