I'm very proud of this because I started drawing this many months ago and never finished it but I recently did! Sometimes I'm still surprized by myself <_>But I also forgot her cutiemark, this is not a surprize tho because I'm the #1 cutiemark forgetter!

I usually can't continue with an older artwork. Scrapping artwork after 3 hours is actually something i do a lot but i can't just continue with it after a week or so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

tbh I don't know why people like her so much. Isn't her whole story made up by fans?

I think I heard someone explain it once as that she reminds us of the mistakes we make and let's us know that those mistakes are okay.

Well, yes and no. The majority of it is. I've only seen the snippets of her appearances in the show's canon and of course her appearances in the comic. Canon and non-canon Derpy are good in my book and personally, her appeal to me is that she's a disabled pony who keeps on smiling. Plus she's a total cutie pie.
I can understand why it seems odd that she's a fan favourite, even though her appearances are slim to none. But then again, aren't all fan favourites that way?
